Arion FA is pleased to announce that from Term 3 onwards we will be conducting our weekend coaching sessions at United World College SEA – East Campus in Ang Mo Kio.

AFA is now offering parents a unique opportunity for their children to follow in the footsteps of the great Brazilian players and learn the beautiful game on sand within the idylic surroundings of Mana Mana @ East Coast.

Playing on sand emphasises skill and ability and our classes for children as young as two years old will help develop their key motor skills such as balance, agility and co-ordination as well as their social skills. Older children will also be given the opportunity to develop their technical and team work skills.

Course Details

Frequency: Class 1 – Every Tuesday morning from 9:30am to 11:00am or Class 2 – Every Thursday afternoon from 5:00pm to 6:30pm

Programme Duration: 29^th June – 31^st August/ 1^st July – 2^nd September  (10 weeks).

Cost: Introductory offer of $200 or $25 pay-as-you-play

Other times can be catered to subject to a minimum of  6 kids per session.

Arion FA held its first social gathering of 2010 at the Mana Mana beach club on east coast last Sunday.

Whilst parents and kids were encouraged to just relax and enjoy the setting there was a skill test set up for all try. The kids were very keen and after some persuading quite a few of the parents gave it a go. Winner of the Fathers category was Stuart Elson with an impressive time of 20 seconds and winner of the Mothers category was Tara Horsman Milne with a time of 37 seconds, beating many of the fathers in the process!!
